So here I couldn't decide between 3 different versions of the picture. Above, the way I would usually do it, below, a rougher, darker and more painterly version, and at the bottom, a softer, slightly gauzy version. Do you have a preference? Does it even make a difference? When you're making a picture you can have strong feelings about details others barely notice.

DeleteI prefer the first one in this situation. Nice comic book feel. I do like the second one but it has a darker more serious feel which would go well with a story like appleland.
ReplyDeleteI greatly prefer the rough version. I creates a lot more energy in the drawing and feels less "processed" and more uniquely Tourquine!
